The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Sleep Number Split King i10 Mattress with the split king 360 Flex Fit adjustable base that includes foot warmers.

July 2017 I purchased a Sleep Number i10 Mattress with the 360 Flex Fit base that included the foot warmers. Our bed was not delivered until September 2017. On February 12th, 2018 the foot warmer on one side of my bed was on low and burned my mattress as well as blistered the back of my leg. When I contacted Sleep Number to find out why I had not been notified about the recall I was told that my bed was delivered outside of the recall dates. This is concerning that the foot warming pad was faulty and Sleep Number states that it did not fall in their recall dates. I believe the Sleep Number recall dates need to be reevaluated and possibly extended or the “corrected” foot warmers need to be evaluated for causing burns as well.
