What’s wrong with it?
If the fascia separates and contacts the driver or a passenger, a loss of vehicle control may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain model year 2017 Dutch Star, Mountain Aire, London Aire, Essex, and King Aire motorhomes manufactured December 4, 2015, to July 5, 2016.
The affected vehicles have front fascia wood trim that may separate from the slide out and possibly contact the driver or a passenger.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
