The product, in the report: A single light pad. Has on and off switch. No names or any identification. When I bought it the companies is Ratukall.

July 8, 2026. My Amazon light pad for diamond painting melted the connector inside the unit. I had not used it for about three days. It was plugged in to a power strip. Which was plugged in the wall. The lightpad was off. I kept smelling something. Thought it was the dogs. 2nd day I came home from work and my house smelled horrible. I went to do some diamond painting. I picked up the board noticing it was very hot. I touched the USB plug and it stung my finger it was so hot. I jerked the USB cord in the lightnpad. The cord had melted inside the lightpad. Only half came out. The power strip by [REDACTED] was plugged in and light on. The only item plugged into it was the light pad. I called Amazon 3 times. They said they wouldn’t do anything because of the time frame. Over a year. When I called to report it I requested emergency response. They answered quickly. They also hung up on me 3 times while on hold. They had my.number to recall and they did not. Hopefully you can get these off the market before they do burn down someone’s house. Thank you
