Made Apr 14, 2026, sent to the company Apr 17, 2026, published by CPSC May 1, 2026

The product, in the report: Double sided UV Lamp for UV resin curing. It is white with small lights on the inside to cure resin from all sides. It came with a charging cord as well. Tge cord is a single cord, that then splits and goes down to 2 cords to plug into tge to and bottom lamp ports

I utilized a known brands UV resin curing lamp. I set it to cure, turned around walked 3 feet to get a soda, and within tvat 30 seconds it burst into flames.

The product, in the report: The product in question, Let’s Resin Epoxy Resin 23oz kit, is sold on Amazon (ASIN B09WRGWNY3). Each component of the kit is 11.5oz in clear bottles that are individually shrink wrapped. This product is advertised for DIY jewelry, art, tumblers and casting.

I am a competitor of this product and am concerned that the manufacturer is not properly listing CPSC/GHS hazard warning information on the labels. Additionally, the GHS information provided on the labels do not match hazard information found on the SDS provided. This product can be purchased from Amazon as well as Direct to Consumer on the manufacturer’s website. This product is an epoxy resin that is advertised to be used for DIY jewelry, art, tumblers, and casting.

Made Jul 19, 2022, sent to the company Jul 25, 2022, published by CPSC Aug 8, 2022

The product, in the report: Let’s Resin Epoxy Resin. I purchased the 32oz kit. It comes in 2 bottles, one with resin part A and one with hardener part B. The label is black with pink and blue and has a jelly fish on it. The back of the bottle has no label. The bottles are clear so you can see the liquid inside.

The product I’m reporting is called Let’s Resin Epoxy Resin. It’s sold in multiple sizes from 32oz, 64oz & 1 gallon. It is advertised as made for art and crafts. The product was used at home. My concern with this product is that is not labelled correctly and is missing the safety hazard symbols on the label that are found on the SDS. 1. Label is missing hazard symbols for corrosion, harmful to aquatic life. The label only has a skin irritant symbol 2. SDS was very difficult to get. I contacted the manufacturer 3 times, April 21, May 12, May 18 and was not provided with an SDS. I finally reached out to Amazon for support who made the manufacturer finally provide a copy of their SDS.

The product, in the report: Let’s Resin Epoxy Resin 64oz kit - comes with two parts. Part A Resin (32oz) and Part B Hardener (32oz). Labels are on the front only, black background with pink, blue and white text with a jelly fish on the bottle. Product is sold as a craft resin, to be used for artwork, jewelry, crafts, etc.

This is in regards to Let’s Resin Epoxy Resin - 2 part epoxy resin kit. Part A Resin and Part B Hardener in a 64oz kit. This product comes in multiple sizes and is sold on Amazon. It is sold as a craft friendly epoxy resin but it is not properly labelled to match it’s SDS.

Skin burn/corrosion pictogram on SDS but only small irritant pictogram on the bottle. Hardener should have a “skin corrosive/burn” pictogram and indicate it “may cause severe skin burns and eye” damage warning.

A copy of the SDS was requested multiple times between April 21 - May 19, 2022. I reached out to them on their website and through Amazon. They wouldn’t send SDS unless I provided Amazon order number.

Non-Toxic claims but SDS says acute toxicity of 4, causes skin burns/eye damage and very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects
