  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Jul 20, 2022, sent to the company Aug 12, 2022, published by CPSC Aug 26, 2022

The product, in the report: Janchun Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin. It comes in a kit with two bottles, one part A Resin and the other is part B Hardener. Labels are white with purple, blue cloud like drawings behind the text. They appear to be very friendly looking craft product, but they are missing all of the warnings and required safety hazard pictograms. I purchased a 32oz kit, but it also comes in 16oz, 72oz, and 1 gal - all with the same label.

This is in regards to Janchun Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin. I am a resin artist and purchased the product from Amazon to try a new resin, as I was looking for more reasonably priced options. I was disappointed and concerned for new resin consumers that this product is not properly labelled and is essentially misleading customers into thinking it is a safe to use product without any precautions. Including the following: 1. No manufacture address on label, packaging, or instruction manual 2. No pictograms on front or back label even though SDS states it may cause skin, eye, respiratory irritation. 3. No website. No SDS or ingredient information readily available. Had to request twice through Amazon seller. 4. Only received an SDS for the resin, not the hardener. This is not compliant with US OSHA guidelines. 5. Amazon states it is FDA COMPLIANT and FOOD SAFE, yet SDS shows 9% Benzyl Alcohol when FDA food contact safety limit is 4% Benzyl Alcohol 6. SDS States: WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WITH SIDE SHIELDS but label only advises protective gloves.
