The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Link to product on Lakeshore Website: https://www.lakeshorelearning.com/products/arts-crafts/craft-collage-materials/easy-punch-design-shapes/p/GA355/ The product is called “Easy-Punch Design Shapes” sold by Lakeshore Learning. They also used to make another set called “Easy-Punch Alphabet” that is designed the same way, therefore is likely to also have the pinch hazard. The purpose of the product is to punch holes in paper with different shapes. It came in a set with multiple different shapes in a variety of colors. Item #GA355

We have had multiple pinches happen while using the Lakeshore Learning brand “Easy-Punch Design Shapes”. There are two different possible pinch points where multiple children have not only been pinched while using, but the product will actually get stuck on their skin, pinching it and holding it, causing a great deal of pain. This product is no longer being sold by Lakeshore Learning, but I believe there should still be a recall of old products.
