The product, in the report: Creatology Acitivty Kit: Harvest Wreath Kit to assemble a fall wreath from felt pieces.
I purchased a Creatology Autumn Leaf kit from Michaels yesterday. As soon as I opened the box, I was overwhelmed by the smell of chemicals. I had already dumped the contents out. I quickly gathered the pieces and carried them outside, but in that short amount of time the fumes were so overwhelming that I felt faint of breath. I couldn’t sleep all night - kept coughing and wheezing. The chemical smell was so powerful - I might as well just have inhaled pure gasoline. I did some online research and found out the Creatology is one of Michael’s brands. I’ll be writing to Michaels as well. I have never been one to worry much about product safety, but I had purchased this product to make an activity for my toddler and I can’t believe how unsafe it would be for a child to inhale these fumes.
