The product, in the report: Crayola Magnetic Double-sided Easel

We purchased the Crayola Magnetic Double-Sided Easel for our child [REDACTED]. When purchasing the Easel we inspected the box to ensure that the Easel was approved for his age group. The Easel was purchased at Toys - R- Us. The Easel was taken home and assembled per the simple instructions provided. On, or about, December 19, 2015 [REDACTED] and his brother ([REDACTED]) were in their “play room”. [REDACTED] tripped, fell into the Easel and severely sliced his cheek open ( up to nearing his right eye). The damage was caused by the sheet metal part of the Easel. [REDACTED] was taken to [REDACTED] Hospital, [REDACTED]. Contact number [REDACTED]. Dr. [REDACTED], ER physician. Since the incident we have been required to take six (6) trips for [REDACTED] Medical Treatment. Each trip being seventy two (72) miles. All follow up care performed by Dr.[REDACTED]. The total cost of medical care, to this date, has been one thousand nine hundred twenty five dollars and eighteen cents ($1,925.18) not including cost and expenses per trip, loss of employment time and related expenses. Under the circumstances such precautionary methods would not only have been reasonable but should have a necessity. To compound the problems our family has suffered, to date we have expended enormous amounts of time attempting to resolve the matter but to no avail. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
