The product, in the report: Various epoxy resins. The first one was called Amazing Cast Resin. The nail polishes and beauty products all vary in brand. Model Two part epoxy resin kit

I began working with epoxy resin sold in Hobby Lobby and within a month I was having severe allergic reactions and highly increased number of health problems including extended menstrual bleeding and heavier than I have ever had in my life. The bleeding lasted for over 45 days straight. I had extreme facial swelling to the point I could barely open my eyes. Rash from head to toe and severe itching, drying of the skin and flaking/peeling of the skin in affected areas. Especially my eyes. Shortness of breath and labored breathing. I could not walk up a single flight of stairs without stopping to rest and catch my breath. No more than 50 feet at a time without resting. Increased sensitivity to common products that I had used for years prior to the exposure of BPA with no issues at all until now. Products such as hair shampoo and conditioners, soak off nail polishes and/or nail salon products and supplies, body wash, lotions, some makeups and a host of other products that I have come into contact with. Doctors were stumped and finally I convinced my PCP to allow me to get patch testing done for allergies. I was under the impression that I was allergic to topical alcohols. Turns out it was actually Bisphenol A and it’s derivatives that I am severely allergic to since I began working with epoxy resins. My allergy level is rated between a 3 and 4 in severity. Since I was diagnosed, I have been trying to avoid contact with the products containing BPA or any related chemicals and am using BPA free epoxy and have had very little noted reactions. My health seems to be improving slowly and when I do come into contact with it, my health immediately worsens. I am trying to locate a list of common products that contain this chemical but am not having any luck. I believe that the gel nail polish or the activator contain some trace amounts of the chemical being that I had a slight reaction after applying it a few weeks back. I have to take an entire regimen of medications to reduce the effects of the reactions. They include [REDACTED] (my life saver that they do not like to give me, but really the only noticeable relief when taken) [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and [REDACTED] are the orally ingested products. Then for topical we have erythromycin ointment for my eyes which flake up and then ooze all around the eyelids, triamcinolone 0.1% ointment for the rest of my body that reacts as though I have severe eczema. I take [REDACTED] to stop the bleeding. There are also some eye drops I use to clear up the infection I get in my eyes. The whole thing is ridiculous and beyond irritating. I wish I had known the affects that this would take on me prior to trying the original product. I followed the recommended safety instructions and still this is where I am at. I am afraid to use so many products now out of fear that I will react to them. I would benefit greatly from a more detailed list of products that do or would be likely to contain this chemical so that I can try to resume a somewhat normal life like I had prior to the exposure. I would also be interested in being part of further research to examine more deeply the actual potential health issues that can occur from exposure to this chemical as I suspect that most of my recent health issues stem from this allergy. My Doctors are all looking beyond the obvious which is that I began experiencing 90% of my health complaints within a month of beginning use of the epoxy resin. Two plus two equals four....it seems fairly simple. Especially since the known effects include most of my health concerns. If anyone knows where I might find additional information on BPA or who to contact for studies that may be taking place, please let me know. I want to be a part of preventing others from having this happen to them!!!
