The product, in the report: Small black binoculars with “Zoo Atlanta” on them in white. There is a black string long enough to hang around a neck.
We bought a pair of kid binoculars at the Atlanta Zoo gift shop. They are small and definitely for children. My child was swinging outside and came in with a serious mark around his neck. He had tried to get off the swing but the binocular string had tangled and was choking him. Thankfully the string broke at the plastic point where it was connected to the binoculars. It did not have a break-away clasp at all and I didn’t think about it. It seems that since these are being marketed to children they should have a safety break-away clasp. There is no identifying information on the binoculars, it just says “Zoo Atlanta”.
