The product, in the report: Gray in color
I have a small magnifying glass with a light that allows you to see things up close The light had stopped working. I opened the battery case on the magnifier and there were three batteries inside, fitted tightly, that looked similar to hearing aid batteries. I had to pry the batteries out of the compartment with a small metal flathead screwdriver. The batteries were dumped onto a couch. moments latter, one of the batteries exploded, sending small mental shards through the living room. No injuries were sustained. I was wearing glasses and I felt some of the debris hit my glasses. Without glasses, I suspect I would have had an eye injury. The magnifying glass was purchased at Barnes & Noble Book Store several years ago and no receipt exists. The “brand” name on the magnifier is “Mighty Bright” and on the back a stencil saying, “Made in China”.
