First aid Made Sep 21, 2018, sent to the company Sep 28, 2018, published by CPSC Oct 15, 2018
The product, in the report: Book for infant children
We purchased a “Happy Baby 123” book published by Priddy Books from a Walmart store in Saint Paul Minnesota. My 20 month old toddler has worn the books binding out quite significantly. Today she had the book in her hand while playing in our living room when out of no where she began to choke. I immediately picked her up and looked in her mouth to find a piece of plastic cellophane that was used to coat the book. After removing this fairly large piece of cellophane from her throat, I looked at the book to see if there was any type of choking hazard warning anywhere on the book, there was not. This situation could have had a very different outcome had I not been paying attention.

No one hurt Made Oct 8, 2012, sent to the company Oct 16, 2012, published by CPSC Oct 30, 2012
The product, in the report: Squishy Turtle and Friends Cloth Book Manufacturer: Priddy Books Distributor: Priddy Books Manufacture Year: 2007 Place of Manufacture: China Manufacturer Code: ISBN 0-312-49184-0 Test Date/Location: 2007-11-15/MI Product Group: Toys Product Type: Infant Books
I have the Squishy Turtle Cloth book published by Priddy. I looked at an online website called healthystuff.org. On the website they claim the book is high in lead content and arsenic. I was really upset that this book has not been recalled. I check all books and toys given to me on your cpsc.gov website. This book is not recalled, yet it has high lead content on one of the pages. Luckily, my son didn’t like it anyway. This is the link:
