The product, in the report: board book for babies made with a dangerous binding method...plastic spiral piece that is easily broken
Safety concern: Baby’s board book- pat the bunny by Dorothy Kunhardt Published by Golden Books
Made with a plastic spiral piece in the spine of the book, which can be broken easily and become a choking hazard.
On various online shopping sites, I have read parental reviews that describe the ease at which their little ones tore the pages off the plastic piece.
I haven’t read of any choking incidents, but I won’t buy this book for my newest grandchild even though it is a beloved classic for babies (when it was made with a traditional binding method). The possibility for choking is SO OBVIOUS !!!
