The product, in the report: Thomas the Train battery operated toothbrush - Spinbrush
On Wednesday 5/4/11 my 5 year old son was using an Arm & Hammer Thomas the Train toothbrush when it exploded. The parts shot off all over the room. Parts and toothpaste hit the 12 foot high ceiling. The toothbrush was in front in my son’s mouth but not inside and he received a welt on his cheek, his top lip was slightly burned and a blister turned up on his lip. Everyone in the room’s ears were ringing and my children were hysterical. My son was extremely upset. I have pictures and still have all the parts. The batteries did not explode. It was something else in the toothbrush.
