The product, in the report: Same Barcode throughout, pieces, all pieces broken with barcode attached, bagged for disposal but not disposed of. It has a blue/pink hue throughout the consistency with tiny magnifies black specks.
This is an addendum. I initially reported defective drywall in April/May 2010 upon my Husband being released from an almost one month stay in the hospital due to this American Made/Domestic Drywall. Upon doing so, there was an Engineer Stamped Report, by two Engineers, Rimkus Engineering that sent our drywall to an Independent lab where it was found to have Strontium, Carbon Disulfide, Carbonyl Sulfide, and various impurities, Reactive Drywall. The CPSC did a thorough investigation minus any testing of our drywall for this particular year [REDACTED]. There has been no resolution to our issue with this Toxic Drywall as two Disabled Americans who are now living in a tent outside of our home due to this Product. My, our safety concern has been from the beginning, the illness caused by this Toxic Product. I have a new issue however, a new PRODUCT SAFETY concern, can you tell me if drywall, any drywall is supposed to EVER be blue or pink in color? No. Is it EVER supposed to have black specks within it ? NO. Our board, all of it or I should say 30 bags of this Hazardous Waste does just that. It is not Chinese, it is not anything but what is already reported, all barcodes through and through. Is this even more hazardous now? probably. What chemical or mineral, etc. would possibly turn drywall or make drywall pink and blue ? I would like this question answered as to these particular chemicals, metals, etc. that are within, all throughout in consistency , our drywall. Having just gained this knowledge of this via some removal, we are even now more in fear for our Health. Already Poisoned from the Carbonyl Sulfide, Etc., this is of GREAT concern now and we would greatly appreciate a response. It also begs the question, is this already Hazardous Material even more Hazardous now as it pertains to the Health, and Safety of not only us but the Environment ?. [REDACTED]
