The product, in the report: Chinese Drywall
The consumer developed asthma approximately 1 year after moving into the home. The consumer’s 19 year old daughter also developed asthma after moving into the home, but the consumer is not sure about the time frame. The consumer’s 7 year old daughter experiences a lot of nose bleeds and this happens year round. The 7 year old also experiences sinus issues. The husband experiences headaches on a weekly basis.
The 19 year old and the consumer have a pulmonary specialist that they have been seeing about this problem. The consumer and her daughter are both on a couple different medications and are using inhalers.
The consumer said that their symptoms seem to be about the same all year round. Their symptoms dissipate when they leave the home for some time, but when they return, their symptoms return as well.
NOTE: The consumer’s 19 year old daughter moved out of the home approx 18 months ago and she is on less than half of the medication that she was on when she was living in the home. She still carries her rescue inhaler.
