We are a not-for-profit Affordable Housing Management Company, who partners with Pasco County (FL) Community Development, (a County government agency) to rehabilitate foreclosed homes within Pasco County, Florida. Upon scheduling a construction contractor (Next Generation Homes) to remodel the listed home owned by [REDACTED], they found that the living area of the home was built with Chinese made drywall. A third party company was hired by Next Generation Homes to investigate and confirm positively that the drywall was manufactured in China. This house was vacated and empty upon our purchase from the bank owner. It is unknown if there are any reported exposures or injuries because of this drywall. Currently the house remains vacant and on hold until a remediation and funding plan can be determined. Attached within this report is the investigative report with photos for your use. We were encouraged by the investigative company to file this report.
