Caller built his home Beginning January 2001, moved into the home in April 15th. 2001. The home is a single family home with an inlaw apartment attached in April 15th 2001. Caller has not noticed odors or extensive odors but has noticed corrosion on his copper pipes to the point of leaks. In Laws both passed away in 2010, then sister in law moved into the In Laws Apt. She is not complaining of health issues at this time. Caller and wife have some health issues but neither are positive at this time whether they associate them with the drywall. Daughter & grandchildren also have no health issues that they can point to the drywall.

UPDATE: Consumer notes that his wife’s stepfather was one of the builders of the home. He was in and out of the house everyday during construction including when the drywall was being hung and prepped and lived in the apartment from April 2001 until his death from a brain hemorrage Feb 2005. His wife’s mother was also in and out of the house on a daily basis and lived in the apartment from April 2001 until her death of pulmonary fibrosis Feb 2011. Consumer doesn’t know if the drywall had anything to do with or help to speed up their sickness. With all of the problems and the two deaths there may have been contaminents from this drywall no one knew about in 2001.
