The product, in the report: A residential elevator manufactured by Elevators Direct, LLC.

A five year old girl became trapped between the hoistway door and elevator accordion door in a vacation home’s residential elevator, which was manufactured by Elevators Direct, LLC. When the elevator descended to another floor, the girl was left trapped while standing on the sill. The elevator was subsequently called back to her floor and began rising toward the young girl. Fortunately, the girl’s parents were able to force the hoistway door open and the girl’s aunt was able to pull the girl out of the space before the elevator arrived, saving her from catastrophic injury or death just moments before the elevator arrived at the floor.
