The product, in the report: REVIX Knee Ice Pack Wrap for Pain Relief, Reusable Gel Cold Compress, Blue. The product is a reusable cold-therapy wrap designed to be placed around the knee for pain relief. It contains a reusable gel cold pack and adjustable straps that secure the wrap around the knee. I purchased it through Amazon.
I purchased a REVIX Knee Ice Pack Wrap for Pain Relief, Reusable Gel Cold Compress (Blue) through Amazon. I used the product on my left knee for cold therapy for knee pain. After using the ice pack, I developed a significant cold injury involving my left knee and lower left leg. The affected areas developed painful blisters, and the injury caused significant pain and made it difficult for me to walk. I reported the injury to Amazon at the time and spoke with a supervisor regarding the incident. Although the initial blisters eventually healed, I now have persistent visible scarring on my left knee and lower left leg in the areas where the injury occurred. I am reporting this incident because I am concerned about the safety of this product and the possibility that other consumers could sustain similar cold injuries. The product continues to be available for purchase online.
