The product, in the report: DARUNAXY 4pack Evaporative Cooling Towels 40”x12”,Snap Cooling Towels, 4-pack. I used the blue one.

I got DARUNAXY Evaporative Cooling Towels as a gift. You’re supposed to get them wet, wring them out, and wrap them around your neck or head to keep cool. I did this yesterday. Within about ten minutes, I started getting a rash on the left side of my neck, where the towel had the most contact with my skin. I took the towel off, and over the course of the day, the rash became very itchy, burned, and inflamed. I tried to put burn/itch cream on it, and it burned like crazy, so I took it off with rubbing alcohol. Overnight, the rash became more inflamed and crusty. It’s a good four inches high and six inches across. I looked up the company, Darunaxy, and can find no information about the company at all, besides they’re Chinese. I’m afraid something that was in/on the towels caused a severe skin reaction and I can’t find anything that tells me what chemical they may have used on these.
