The product, in the report: The product is the Stagesfogger Portable Handheld Fog Machine with Remote Control. It is a highly compact and lightweight handheld smoke machine designed for DIY crafts and small events. The brand name is Stagesfogger. The physical dimensions of the machine are very small, measuring exactly 2.70 inches by 1.70 inches by 2.70 inches, and it weighs only 90 grams. It includes a wireless remote control that allows the user to operate the smoke generation from a distance without cables. The product is designed to be attached to or combined with various physical models such as architectural designs, sci fi scenes, or mechanical devices. It is actively marketed for versatile consumer applications including birthday parties, family gatherings, barbecues, graduations, Halloween, Christmas, costume parties, movie themes, music events, outdoor sports, and proms.
What happened that made you want to report I tested the Stagesfogger Portable Handheld Fog Machine and found that when it heats fluid, it immediately fills the air with extreme levels of fine particulate matter PM2.5 pollution, over twenty times higher than the EPA worst Hazardous limit. Even though this machine is very small, it still produces very large amounts of PM2.5 that expands out and saturates the area even when you cannot visually see the smoke. Fine particulate matter PM2.5 is extremely dangerous because these microscopic particles easily bypass the bodys natural defenses, traveling deep into the lungs and crossing into the bloodstream to cause severe systemic damage. The complete lack of any PM2.5 hazard warning on this product is the most severe hazard that no one knows about. I am reporting this because this handheld machine creates the exact same hazardous environment that severely injured me at [REDACTED], where I suffered cumulative damage from breathing identical commercial fog fluids. The online product description markets this as a fun creative tool for DIY crafts and family parties, completely hiding the severe respiratory risks from consumers.
What type of products were being used A portable handheld smoke machine, specifically the Stagesfogger Portable Handheld Fog Machine with Remote Control. This tested product is mechanically and chemically identical in function to the heavy duty atmospheric effects networks used continuously in major commercial theme parks, generating the exact same hazardous levels of PM2.5 on a localized scale.
Who was using the products DIY crafters, private consumers, photographers, and party hosts use it. Because the invisible particulate matter expands outward into the surrounding air, the people forced to breathe it include bystanders, children, and anyone attending the events, parties, or photoshoots where it is used.
How were the products being used The machine was used according to standard manufacturer instructions. This device is actively marketed to be used closely for DIY crafts, birthday parties, family gatherings, graduations, Halloween, and costume parties, placing it directly in the hands of and in close proximity to consumers.
Were there any injuries that happened or may have happened while using the product Yes. I suffered severe ongoing health injuries from exposure to identical commercial fluid systems, and this specific product creates a massive risk of the exact same respiratory and systemic injury to the general public, especially since it is handheld and used at close range.
How did any injuries occur These machines operate exactly the same way as electronic cigarettes and vaping devices, using thermal vaporization to turn glycol and glycerin liquids into an inhalable aerosol cloud. My injuries occurred from cumulative exposure to identical commercial fog and haze systems as a season passholder at [REDACTED]. While investigating my health issues, I carried an air quality sensor and discovered that theatrical fog consistently caused massive PM2.5 pollution spikes inside the theme park theaters. My last visit on June 14 2025 had the highest readings. Even though I wore a KN95 mask, breathing in this extreme PM2.5 triggered severe gastrointestinal and immune system problems, leaving me with debilitating allergies to pollen, food, and chemicals. Because the Stagesfogger uses the exact same thermal vaporization process, it recreates this exact same invisible hazard right in the hands of consumers. Heating these types of fluids can also cause them to break down and release formaldehyde, a known hazard, which my sensors detected during testing.
