The product, in the report: Latest PVC Reptile Enclosure With Dual intelligent Temperature Control 120*60*60CM YRT-120D 2
I purchased two large snake enclosures from the online store Yoco Reptile Home, my order number for reference is: #[REDACTED]. When I finished assembled both of the enclosures, I noticed the electricity cables are loose and hanging inside of the enclosure, which is a huge fire hazard and life hazard for the snakes. I complained immediately with Yoco Reptile Home by e-mail, I requested to return the items while I complained about the safety and fire hazard, they told me nothing bad would happen, and they would delay hours or days to answer my e-mails. Then on March 4th I received my brand new snake, which is a ball python. Not having other place to leave her and after being told by the seller my snake would be safe, I placed her inside of the enclosure. 2 hour later this same snake was tangled and trapped in the electricity cables, two of them burned and almost caught on fire. I rushed to remove the power cable from the outlet before my snake died. I sent new e-mails showing my snake tangled, I complained for several days and seller refused ro refund me. This product can kill an animal and can start a fire inside of a house, it is completely unacceptable. They claimed they sold thousands of these items before and that they are in compliance with USA regulations. The cables are part of the heat and light required to maintain the snake warm and healthy, and to control the humidity. Now I had to rip the cables off trying to save my snake and the product is nothing longer in conditions to be used.
