The product, in the report: Name: Tough-1 Hay Hoops collapsable wall hay feeder Color: black Size: H2 inches W13 inches Material: steel

Tractor Supply not allowing reviews stating products are dangerous. I purchased two metal hay hoops that started breaking with routine use. Hay hoops are devices that hold a hay net that you fill and close for your horses to eat out of. One of them left very sharp metal pieces in my horse’s feed bunk. I was lucky to find them all before my horse ingested them. They could have cut my horse’s mouth and gums or could have lodged themselves anywhere within their digestive tract. This could easily have led to death.

I returned the hoops and left a review on the product, warning others about the potential danger of using these, but got an email saying it was not posted because of ‘legal reasons’. They included an option for me to change the review to remove the damaging information.

When I called customer service to ask why this was, she made up several excuses that just didn’t make sense. Be aware that they’re filtering out reviews on dangerous items.
