NAFD Engine 2 was dispatched to the address for a mattress fire that was already out, but the home owner wanted us to make sure. A child had taken some hampster bedding out of a pet toy and while playing with it on her bed near a lit candle on her nightstand. The bedding came into close proximity of the candle and it ignited. It was dropped on the bed where it caught the bed spread and mattress on fire. No injuries reported.
