  1. No incident, no one hurt

The product, in the report: Spot chirpies dog toy. Stuffed orange chicken that makes chirping sounds.

Spot chirpies plush toy has a sound box inside the toy that makes chirping sounds. My dog received this and days later opened a seam and the box fell out broken and multiple small round batteries fell out. Upon review of the tag there is a warning there are batteries but this should never be easily broken or accessible and should NEVER be in a toy marketed for dogs! This can cause serious illness and death if swallowed, which can happen in a split second even with monitoring. These toys need to be removed from shelves immediately! I was lucky that I caught it in time. There’s no mention of how many batteries there are inside but upon testing appears there are only 3 so I dont have to rush my dog to the emergency room.
