The product, in the report: Safely confine pets to a specific room or area with this convenient pet gate. With no installation necessary, the freestanding unit works great for wide entrances, doorways, and places without suitable walls. Its width can be adjusted from 39-4/5 to 71-2/7 inches to accommodate different sized openings. In addition, the gate effectively confines pets, but not people with its easy-to-step-over 20-inch height. Other thoughtful details include a wide base to prevent it from tipping over, rubber feet to protect floors from getting scratched, and a design that folds compactly for storing when not in use. The pet gate, with its side panels and beautiful hardwood finish, measures 39-4/5 to 71-2/7 by 17-2/3 by 20 inches.
Richell Wood Freestanding Pet Gate, Large, Autumn Matte Finish by Richell
Got this new wooden expandable doggie gate and two days later husband forgot it was there, tripped over it, and crashed to the floor. The wood splintered into two very sharp dagger like pieces. My husband has lots of bruising, and some hurt pride, but luckily missed being stabbed by the sharp pieces of wood. This is an unsafe product as it comes up only about shin length and has no reflective tape or markings to make it visible in the dark. Please let others know of this danger. Thank you.
