The product, in the report: Playology Articulated Slug Cat Teaser Toy with Catnip

I had previously purchased a wand toy. The brand is Playology and the item is the Playology Articulated Slug Cat Teaser with Catnip. It was purchased from PetSmart. I picked it up to play with it on Sunday, 1/11/26, and felt something strange. I ran my thumb over the wand and immediately felt a sharp pain like small pieces of glass. I instinctively put my thumb to my mouth and could feel that it was sharp and the telltale sign of glass. I rinsed my mouth out and my fingers. I looked at the wand and could see tiny white fibrous lines that I recognized to be fiberglass. I dont know what broke the wand, but the only known damage has been to my thumb, I had no remaining glass in my mouth or lip, and to my knowledge the cats never came in contact with the wand. Unfortunately, while there are still some fibers in my thumb, they are not visible on any photograph and all other glass was removed immediately. I did retain possession of the wand in if it is needed for future evidence.
