The product, in the report: PETPLUS Dog Cat Heating Pad for Pets, Electric Heating Pads with Chew Resistant Steel Cord
I purchased the following product through Amazon.com PETPLUS Dog Cat Heating Pad for Pets, Electric Heating Pads with Chew Resistant Steel Cord I received it on December 20, 2019. I used it off and on for a couple of weeks until my 3 dogs finally discovered it and fell in love with it. The dogs were basically using it 24 hours a day. Roughly 3 days ago I started noticing a dirty/dusty smell in my living room, which is where the bed was being used. I had put the heating pad inside a cloth dog bed and placed a couple blankets on top of the pad.I finally tracked down the source of the smell being this dog heating pad. The heating pad had started melting onto itself. All items that it touched have burn marks on them including the Carpet that was underneath the dog bed. The Livingroom carpet has a burn mark approximately 12 inches around. This was a fire waiting to start. I reached out to Amazon, who refunded my purchase price, but the company that makes the heating pad is an international company and I can find no way to reach them
