Received PETEPELA Cat Tree Floor-to-Ceiling Cat Tower as a gift for my birthday from my father, purchased on Amazon. Less than a month after assembling (which included bracing it to the ceiling and securing to the wall with the enclosed strap), the tower snapped in half and landed on my head/neck area and then bounced off my neck onto my cat. It probably weighs 50lbs and my neck has been cricked for days since and I have a huge bruise. Had it landed solely on my cat (or a child!) they would most likely have been killed. Amazon refuses to return the item or remove it from their platform despite repeated escalation attempts.
