The product, in the report: The product is named Fox Frenzy. It is a motion and electric cat toy. It has a red base and a fuzzy white tail attached.

    To who it may concern,

Tuesday I purchased “Foxy Frenzy” from PetSmart. I went to charge the toy on a wall outlet and in a matter of minutes it started to melt. My cat meowed for my attention when I smelt burnt plastic. I took the wall charger from the outlet as soon as I saw what was happening. I wondered if it was user-error and re-read the instructions. It was NOT user-error, I had charged it as instructed. I have never had problems with the charger I used or the outlet on the wall - both of which I use frequently. I will attach photos. I am glad I was home and had not left it to charge as I was about to head out. This is deadly and should be taken seriously. I have never had to right one of these emails, but I was so disturbed I had to. This toy should be recalled as it is a fire-hazard waiting to happen.
