  1. Hurt, care not known

Made Jan 14, 2022, sent to the company Jan 19, 2022, published by CPSC Feb 2, 2022

The product, in the report: ASIN #B08P4DJDRJ Model ?TC20-1 Color: Blue and black Contains: shock collar and wireless remote ?4.72 x 0.79 x 0.59 inches ?11.3 ounces

A dog shock collar I purchased on Amazon (NVK Shock Collar, sold by Snow Dogs) has absolutely no safety controls. The shock even on the lowest level is unacceptably strong. I tried it on myself before using it on my dog and the shock was worse than from an electrical outlet even on level 1 (of 99). I’ve used many other collars and always try on myself before putting it on my dog. This was torturously strong and could injure or possibly even kill an animal. It caused me severe pain, I could not imagine what it would do to a 45 pound dog or even one larger. It has many other reviews on Amazon stating similar issues. I doubt people who reviewed it highly thought to try it on themselves and are now inadvertently harming their dogs.
