I purchased a Mi Metty 6 ft wire cable dog leash Nov 12, 2024. From Amazon prime. This is a dangerous product that specifically says for large dogs. I have a bullmastiff. I was walking her on the beach February 26, 2025. As the leash is shipped wrapped in a circular fashion, it frequently loops if the dog is walking near me. She made a quick dash and the loop wrapped around my two middle fingers on my right hand. I lost the distal phalanx on both fingers. I was transported by ambulance to a level 1 trauma center in an effort to reattach my fingers., which the surgeon was not able to do.
