The product, in the report: Dog nail grinder with 2 led lights black
I purchased a pet nail grinder on Amazon, assuming it met basic safety standards. However, the device proved to be extremely dangerous. While the unit was plugged in for charging, it suffered a catastrophic failure. It began emitting thick, billowing black smoke accompanied by chunks of black ash and debris being expelled from the unit. The device then ignited. The fire damage was severe enough to char the base (tail end) of the device completely. As a result, the brand logo on the bottom is burnt and illegible. However, the model number remains visible on the upper section of the housing, which remained relatively intact. This is a clear and immediate fire hazard. I have retained the burnt device as evidence.

The product, in the report: Dog nail grinder with 2 led light black
I purchased a portable nail drill via Amazon. After the battery was fully depleted, I plugged the device in for its very first charging cycle. During this initial charge, the device suffered a catastrophic internal failure due to overheating. It literally melted from the inside out. While the outer plastic casing remains intact without burn marks, the structural integrity of the device failed completely, causing it to collapse inwardmuch like a deflated balloon. Upon visual inspection, the internal components have visibly melted and deformed. This indicates a severe battery or circuit malfunction. This product poses an extreme fire hazard and risk of personal injury. I urge the CPSC to investigate this manufacturing defect immediately to prevent potential accidents.

The product, in the report: Dog Nail Grinder with 2 LED Lights Black
It got a little warm while charging, and after a while, I smelled something burning. That’s when I realized the nail grinder was on fire! I quickly tossed it on the ground and put it out with water, but it still ended up burning a hole in my carpet.
