The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Frisco Quilted Orthopedic Pillow Lounger Cat & Dog Bed with Removable Cover Size Large
I purchased this pet bed from Chewy.com, and according to both the product tag and online description, the cover is removable and washable. There is no mention anywhereon the tag, the website, or in customer Q&Athat the bed contains fiberglass.
When I removed the cover to clean it, as directed, I immediately noticed sparkling particles coming off the exposed foam. These were fiberglass shards, which became airborne, contaminating my apartment. My skin became irritated after handling the bed, and I am now concerned about inhalation exposure for both myself and my pet.
This fiberglass was not disclosed in the product labeling, care instructions, or online listing. In fact, Chewys customer Q&A page explicitly states the product does not contain fiberglass, which is false and misleading.
I contacted Chewy and was issued a refund, but no further action was taken. I was told to “properly discard” the bed, but there was no safety guidance or escalation from their end.
This product presents a serious consumer safety hazard due to the undisclosed fiberglass and the instructions to remove the cover, which directly expose users to harmful materials.
