The product, in the report: ET-300 Mini Educator Remote E-Collar

The submitter is reporting the product for posing a fire hazard

The submitter’s dog was wearing the collar when it suddenly began to emit smoke. The submitter said the collar was on but she had not pressed the remote when the incident occurred. The dog was in the backyard and rolled in the mud which helped stop the smoke. The submitter’s husband then attempted to remove the collar from their dog but indicated that the unit was extremely hot to the touch and made it difficult. The submitter’s dog was charred around the collar.

She indicated that the collar is always worn by the dog and left on but they do not use the “shock” feature often. Used everyday

She contacted firm this morning and she was asked to send emails and photos.
