There are items on e-bay geared towards pet owners. While it might seem fun to a consumer it is dangerous to the pet. These laser pointers one in particular FroliCat Bolt Automatic Laser Light Teaser Toy has an adjustable mirror which can allow a consumer to tilt the laser to the point of getting the laser into the pet’s eyes. These lasers are dangerous to sight. They can blind an animal or human if these lasers are directed directly towards an eye. These can be used unattended. While the cat may chase the point of light many kittens and older cats will look to see where the light is coming from. I know my cats are smart and especially the one of mine who jumps on our printer to try to see how the paper travels in the front and comes out the front. She always tries to figure out how it turns the paper around.
These should be removed from the market before someone or someone’s pet gets really hurt.
