The product, in the report: Deluxe Style Pro Haircutting Kit
Turned hair clipper off and set down for a minute. Picked hair clipper up and couldn’t get it to turn on. Tried 3 times. Unplugged and plugged 3 times to make sure there wasn’t a problem with the outlet. Tried the clipper switch again and it did turn on. Started to use again when I felt a small tingle on my hand from near the large screw head on the exterior. Thought it was a plastic burr so moved my hand back to the same spot by the large screw head. The same tingle occurred again and which point I realized that the cause was an electric short coming through the clipper case from or near the large screw that is on the side of the clipper body. Discontinued use of hair clipper. The outlet used is 3 prong/polarized and correctly wired hot/neutral/ground. It isn’t equipped with a GFCI.

No one hurt Made Jul 26, 2012, sent to the company Aug 8, 2012, published by CPSC Aug 22, 2012
The product, in the report: Personal Trimmer (Beard Trimmer)
Product is a Wahl Personal Trimmer (Beard Trimmer) model #5537n.
Sometime during use with the #1 guard on, three of the teeth on the stationary part of the blade broke off.
When I later remove the #1 guard to do a closer beard trim, I could see that the three teeth had broken off, well below the level of the moving blade, leaving the moving blade exposed.
I immediately discontinued use of the unit. If I had used the unit, the exposed moving blades would have been in direct contact with my skin, causing almost certain facial injury.
The unit was never dropped or handled roughly, and was always stored with the #1 guard on.
