Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Purchased on Amazon, product named as: “Best Nose Hair Trimmer 2018, Nose Hair Trimmer Ear Trimmer with Vacuum Cleaning System, Electric Nasal Hair Remover No Hurting Your Nasal Cavity Waterproof Compact Cordless [HW-T001]”

Numerous trimmers claim to be the best and safest. This one had good reviews and stressed how the blades are fully enclosed so there is no danger of irritation let alone cuts or lacerations. I was using the device to trim the hairs in my ear, gently moving it in and around my ear for about one minute. I didn’t feel any of the cuts it was making otherwise I would have immediately stopped using it. After removing the device from my ear I noticed it was splattered with blood, my blood.
