The product, in the report: Rose gold iron, light pink base, white cord, Rx7 Advanced Ionic Styling Tools. Address on limited warranty pamphlet is 1650 W. Rosecrans Ave, Gardena, CA 90249
I wanted to report an extremely dangerous product so that what happened to me doesn’t happen to anyone else. I purchased a curling iron (Rx7 Advanced Ionic Styling Tools) at Marshalls 6 months ago and have used it a few times as I have several different curling irons. On 6/27/24 as I was curling my hair, this curling iron caught on fire while my hair was in between the clamps. It started popping like fireworks with golf size balls of fire coming out of it. Fortunately, I was right beside my counter and was able to throw it down on my tile floor, unplug it, and was able to save my hair from major damage. I did receive a minor burn from where the wand hit my arm when I threw it on the floor. I was using the curling iron on dry hair as normal after it had warmed up about a minute.
