The product, in the report: Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Round Thermal Hair Brush - Not Electrical - Professional Blowout Brush for Normal to Thick Hair
I recently purchased an Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Round Thermal Hair Brush from Amazon. The second time I used the brush, I accidentally grazed my neck with the end of the brush and got a circular-sized first-degree burn. On inspection, I realized that unlike other round brushes, which have a plastic cover over the end of the brush, this brush has no cover - and instead has a metal end and exposed ceramic from the brush. It seems that it was the exposed ceramic that caused my burn. This is a significant design defect that makes the brush unsafe for use. I looked on Amazon and found several other users have reported the same type of burns from the brush.
