The product, in the report: NuMe Reverse Curling Wand Black in color
On the morning of August 29, 2016, I was using a NuMe Reverse Curling Wand. While using the wand the end of the wand proceeded to burn completely off and spark. Luckily, the breaker blew (with such force it blew the breaker on half of my house) and probably saved my hair from catching on fire. This caused me great concern due to the fact that I had only purchased this product two days prior to this incident. My 8 year old daughter was also standing right there and she could have easily been injured as well. The store I purchased the wand from (TJ Maxx) graciously refunded my purchase and I have contacted NuMe, and they as well offered me 10 percent off my next purchase and free shipping. I appreciate that the company did make a attempt to honor their customers, however, I do not feel that they grasped the severity of the situation. When I returned that wand to the store you could see the ash and burnt areas of wand and smell the burnt areas. I am concerned to the safety of other customers and their household.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration
