The product, in the report: Jilbere brand hair straightening iron, labeled ‘Titanium Tools’. 1.5 inch width blades. Model #JBTT3558

Jilbere ‘Titanium Tools’ hair straightening iron (model #JBTT3558) overheated within 2 minutes of plugging it in. The handle became hot, it burned the hair on the back of my head, and it emitted a strong odor of burning plastic. I thought it might actually catch on fire.
