Made Dec 4, 2012, sent to the company Dec 27, 2012, published by CPSC Jan 11, 2013

The product, in the report: GVP 1 1/2 Travel Iron Heats up to 410 * F limited edition Color Purple.

On 12/3/12 at approximately 6:25 pm , I purchased a Styling Iron ( GVP 1 1/2 Travel Iron 26487 batch code: DR2240 Bar Code: 5033102808361) at Sally Beauty Supply Statesboro, GA Store: [REDACTED].

On 12/4/12 I plugged in the styling iron waited 3 minutes then picked up the Styling Iron that I had to immediately drop. This Styling Iron was so HOT I do believe If I would have held it for a second longer I would have received a 2cd or 3rd degree BURN. I believe this product is a Fire HAZARD as well. I have unplugged this item and will return this to the Above mentioned Store and report to appropriate Sales associate.
