The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Tractor Supply shopping cart. Red in color standard size. Made of metal and plastic.

My 10 month old daughter got her left leg stuck in a shopping cart at Tractor Supply On Monday the 5th. They told us at the store that this had happened before so it was preventable and there was no warning or reason to believe for concern until she got her leg caught. Her leg was caught severe enough where bolt cutters had to be used to cut the metal bars free her leg from between the metal bars. Part of my concern is that this has already happened previously and nothing was seemingly done to prevent it from happening again.
