The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jul 22, 2021, sent to the company Jul 26, 2021, published by CPSC Aug 16, 2021

The product, in the report: It is a Gillette fusion 5 disposable razor that also has a second lead on the backside we just don’t see his kind of mold it in with plastic around it and it caught my lip and cut me. Model Gillette fusion 5

Gillette fusion5 I was shaving the Gillette fusion 5 has braids in the front like all disposable razors it also has a hidden blade in the back and I have a larger upper lip and the blade in the back cut my lip and cut me open and I think it will probably cut a lot of people’s lips open I think that’s why they don’t put a blade on both sides of kitchen knives it’s just not safe they should recall this product I made a [REDACTED] video of it just now to warn people and I called Gillette.

The product, in the report: Venus Simply3 Disposable Razors

I purchased a package of “Venus Simply3 Disposable” razors from Amazon.com on January 19, 2019. I finally started using one in April 2019. I was shaving my legs in the shower and while shaving my left leg the razor skinned my shin. It literally removed about 3 inches of skin off of my shin and I’m left with a scar because of it. I am reporting this now because I received an email about the recall. I usually use a different type of razor from the same company and thought that maybe these razors were just extra sharp and that I wasn’t careful. But now I see there was actually a defect. I’ve never cut myself with the other razors that I use from this company.
