The product, in the report: Electric Shaver Model/serial number F3790 Made in China

Around October 2nd, 2012 caller purchased an electric shaver from retailer at price of about $20. He had no problems in the beginning but on November 2012 he though it was a bit rough then the day of November 8th, 2012 he was shaving when he felt it scratching his face. He stopped using the shaver on November 8th because the scratching was painful, he thinks the screen may be damaged due to a defect with design. The metal has fatigued and failed.

He would like for the shaver to be investigated and recalled before someone becomes badly injured.

He has not contacted the manufacturer and says that CPSC would handle the issue.

Remington Shaver F-3790. Made in China. See attached photos. Screen metal fatigue failure after about 30-40 shaves.
