No incident, no one hurt Made Mar 31, 2025, sent to the company Apr 14, 2025, published by CPSC Apr 28, 2025
The product, in the report: Rechargeable Epilady Legend model EP-810-33 Purple and white
This is what I wrote to the company, but never heard back. Good morning. I have a Epilady model EP-810-33. Last week I noticed that the lower left corner of the front of the case looked melted. This morning, I was holding it in my hand when I plugged it in. It immediately became burning hot so I unplugged it. I opened the case thinking if a rechargeable battery had failed I would replace that, but it looks like the failure was a capacitor. It is very burnt along with that corner of the computer board and even the case. If there is a warranty that covers parts failure I would very much like a replacement; preferably a corded version.
Thank you, [REDACTED] [REDACTED]
