The product, in the report: Gillette Venus Simply 3 Disposable Razors
I bought these razors to take on vacation at the beach and my daughter and her friend used up two boxes of [REDACTED] because they kept cutting their self when they shaved their legs. This never happens and I was concerned about the razors being so sharp because they were new. Well now I know that was not the reason because I got nicked to and I’ve been shaving my legs for years.

The product, in the report: Gillette Venus Simply3 Disposable Razors
I was shaving my legs when the razor skinned a 2 inch long piece of skin off my ankle. I shave very carefully and this had never happened before. I should have gotten stitches it wouldn’t stop bleeding for hours. This happened on the other ankle a week later. Not surprised there’s a product recall.

The product, in the report: Gillette Venus Simply 3 (this was a sample included with Gillette Daisy Classic package)
Five days ago, I was used a Gillette Venus Razor to begin shaving my right leg. I was stunned to see multiple spots bleeding where I had just used the razor. I immediately stopped not knowing what the issue was. It has been slowly healing...I have picture I took today showing the road rash appearance left from the attempt at shaving my leg. It was like a layer of my skin had been shaved off... painful, red & irritated. I saw the news report of the razor recall last night & wondered if that was the problem. According to Gillette Venus web site, the razor I used is part of the recall. I still have some of the razors used plus the original package. I have been holding on the phone with Gillette Venus for last 30 minutes... still waiting. I have used their product for years & never suspected the razor caused this injury. it is still healing looking red & irritated.

The product, in the report: Gillette Venus Simply3 women’s disposable razors
Used one of the mentioned razors while in the shower, and while shaving around my knee, cut it open. I understand cuts happen sometimes, however this one was so deep it went all the way down my leg and wouldn’t stop bleeding the rest of the day. I still have a scar from it despite it being earlier this month.

The product, in the report: Gillette Venus Simply3 Women’s Disposable Razors UPC/SKU: B00I3N4KLG 05/12/2019 - 113-0561480-8086629 - Gillette Venus Simply3 Women’s Disposable Razors
I just saw the recall notice for the razors from Amazon.com. I Purchased the product mentioned in recall number 19-154. I also read that there was only one consumer effected. That is not true. This razor sliced my leg open, sheering the skin off like I used a potato peeler. A thick and long strip of my skin came up as I first used it. I had to untangled the strip of skin from the razor blade, otherwise it would have continued to pull/ tear. And it bled a lot. So much so that I considered going to the hospital to see if I needed stitches. (I probably did but I didn’t have anyone to drive me or watch my kids.)

The product, in the report: Gillette Venus Simply 3 4 Disposable razors
When I was shaving both my legs and armpits in the shower I was cut 3 times. It started stinging really bad under my arm and then I started feeling the stinging on my leg and saw blood dripping from both my legs and under my arm. It took a while for the bleeding to stop. I asked my daughter if she ever had any issues with this shaver and she said she never used this type of Venus razor before, but has used many others without any problem. I have not been cut shaving in years and have been using the Gillette Venus product for years. This is the first time I used this type of razor. Not very long after this had happened I got this email and showed it to my daughter and she agreed that I fill out this report because I could have been cut more seriously and wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone else, especially if they were on a blood thinner.

The product, in the report: Gillette Venus Comfort Glide White Tea Razor
I used Venus White Tea for the first time. Three days later I had multiple, inflamed, painful red bumps under my skin on my armpits, lower stomach, and groin area. I stopped using the razor, but still had new bumps showing up afterwards. After a month of no resolution I saw a doctor who had to prescribe me antibiotics for the next few months because I have a staph infection.
