Emergency room Made Aug 15, 2025, sent to the company Feb 20, 2026, published by CPSC Mar 6, 2026
The product, in the report: It is the Bleame Crystal Hair Eraser: https://bleame.com/products/crystal-hair-eraser
My 18 year old daughter used the Bleame crystal hair eraser according to the directions, including doing a patch test. The product, used as directed, removed so much skin in her bikini area that it caused a friction burn and she ended up in so much pain that it required an ER visit. She needed morphine, opiods, and topical numbing cream to help get the pain under control. She also required a tetanus shot. She was not able to work for 3 days.

Hurt, no treatment Made Jun 28, 2023, sent to the company Jun 30, 2023, published by CPSC Jul 17, 2023
The product, in the report: Bleame Crystal Hair Remover - it is a small purple handheld device that you rub on your body to remove hair. It cuts your skin and makes painful rashes. They are also deceitful in their advertisements and remove all negative reviews about this.
Bleames crystal hair removal product causes dangerous and painful wounds that can lead to staph infections and long term issues. I tried their product and got painful rashes on my legs. I requested a refund, but I still have not received one.
